Udavum Karangal is an Indian non-governmental organization that provides a range of services, including care for abandoned and destitute children, healthcare, and community development programs. I met with Papa Vidyakar, the founder of Udavum Karangal in 2006. I was very impressed with his work and Gnanam Foundation has been sponsoring children living in Udavum Karangal since 2006. Our sponsor child Matilda Vidyakar is going to high school and is planning to work at Udavum Karangal as a teacher.
